Oscar 2014: tutte le nominations

Comincia la lunga strada della Road to Oscar 2014, e comincia con una brevissima diretta, che sicuramente avrete seguito con noi.

Countdown. «Four minutes to air», dice una voce fuori campo, un tecnico. E parte l’intro della serata by Ellen Degeneres, una Ellen che si presenta in perfetta forma, in un abito scuro da fare invidia. «Three minutes to air». «Two minutes, two minutes». «One minute, one minute to air, thank you». «Thirty seconds, thirty seconds». E poi c’è la sigla ufficiale dell’evento, che sancisce definitivamente l’inizio della corsa agli Oscar 2014.

Il Presidente dell’Academy, Cheryl Boone Isaacs, da il benvenuto e il buongiorno alla platea, ringraziando chi si unisce alla serata dedicata agli eroi del film-making. Chris Hemsworth, interprete di un ‘vero supereroe’ nella serie di Thor e The Avengers, la affianca nell’annuncio delle principali categorie.

Ottima la nomination in Original Song per Frozen, mentre Ordinary Love in Mandela: Long way to freedom raccoglie qualche tiepido applauso da una poco partecipe platea. Entusiasmo che si solleva un po’ in Adapted Screenplay per The Wolf of Wall Street, mentre Original Screenplay si scuote solamente per Dallas Buyers Club. Animated Feature vede Desplicable Me 2 contrapposto a Frozen, ma l’accoglienza è… Piuttosto gelata. Hayao Miyazaki con The Wind Rises raggiunge la nomination che era prevista e supposta già da un pezzo, perché fondamentalmente si sapeva che avrebbe puntato a quella. Leonardo Dicaprio conquista un’altra nomination come Best Actor in a leading role, per The Wolf of Wall Street, e presto sapremo se riuscirà a coronare questo suo sogno.

La piccola platea segue in silenzio, raramente si lascia andare a qualche applauso a sentire i nomi dei finalisti alla corsa verso il Dolby Theatre, ma qualche gradimento in più si ottiene quando viene candidato, in diverse categorie, il film Philomena.

Ma ora vediamo la lista completa dei candidati agli Oscar 2014, e che il countdown per il 2 Marzo abbia inizio!
