Golden Globes 2014. Il primo appuntamento di rilievo dell’anno a venire, che vede le statuette dorate come, talvolta, anticipazioni degli Oscar. Woody Allen riceverà il premio alla carriera e Scarlett Johannson già sa che non sarà nominata. Ma sono molti altri i personaggi che vedono molto in ballo, e molti i film in gioco. Il 12 Gennaio 2014 le statuette verranno consegnate in una serata guidata da Tina Fey e Amy Poehler, e a distanza di pochi giorni, il 16 Gennaio, verranno annunciate le nominations agli Oscar 2014 (potete dare una sbirciata al sito ufficiale per ricordarvi i vincitori dell’anno 2013 e rinfrescare la memoria).

E ora, facciamo i conti: American Hustle viene citato ben sette volte, tra cui la nomination per Miglior Film. Altrettante volte compare il nome di 12 years a slave. Uscito come film per la tv, Behind the candelabra colleziona ben quattro nominations, tutte di estrema rilevanza (ci sarebbe da domandarsi come sarebbe andata se fosse stato un film uscito in sala piuttosto che sul piccolo schermo). Meritatissima la nomination di Daniel Brühl per Rush: la sua interpretazione della durezza e dell’asprezza di Niki Lauda ha impressionato persino il pilota stesso, come ben si sa. Gravity compare (solamente, per quanto riguarda chi scrive) quattro volte, ma tre sono sicuramente rilevantissime: Miglior Film, Miglior Attrice Protagonista in categoria Drammatico e Miglior Regia. Ottima notizia per il cinema italiano per la presenza di La grande bellezza, di Paolo Sorrentino, che sta già facendo man bassa di premi. Tra le serie tv, impressiona la presenza di Jim Parsons, che non fa altro che confermare la sua ottima interpretazione (basta vedere quanti premi ha vinto grazie a questo serial) nel comedy show The Big Bang Theory.
